A morning snow storm brought several inches of snow along with slippery road conditions on Friday, April 6, 2012. Along with reporting of morning accidents, The Salt Lake Tribune reported that The National Weather Service sent out a warning for possible road snow on certain mountain roadways, especially I-80. It was recommended for drivers to use caution when commuting during the early hours of the morning. There have been several accidents reported already on Utah’s roadways today, with the storm expected to move out by midday.
Drivers should use caution when traveling the roads today as slushy conditions may cause slippery roads. Please slow down a little when the roads get wet and remember to drive no faster than you have room to stop.
