Sandy Woman Dead After Crash on Slick Highway

A three-car crash on Interstate 15 in Sandy, Utah took the life of 37-year-old Carolina Cross of Riverton, Utah. This fatal Utah auto accident took place on Monday April 13, 2010 in Sandy, Utah. KSL news reports the woman’s husband was driving north around 9200 South at 65-70 m.p.h when he lost control of their green Chevy Cavalier. The Cavalier hit a car and a pickup truck as it spun across the lanes and hit a concrete barrier. Carolina Cross was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car and died at the scene. Investigators believe there may have been standing water on freeway making travel at high speeds very dangerous.

My heart goes out to the husband of Carolina Cross. What a tragedy to lose your wife in an accident life this, an accident that could have happened to anyone. I wish all the other parties involved in the accident well.

Because Mrs. Cross was a passenger in the vehicle, her next-of-kin is able to file a Utah wrongful death claim and recover costs for funeral expenses and pain and suffering. They would do well contacting a Utah personal injury attorney who can take care of all things legal during this difficult time.
