Juab County Car Accident Takes Two Lives

Mary Sue Dutson, 49, of Lynndyl, Utah died as a result of injuries stemming from a car accident on December 17, 2010. Mary Sue’s daughter, Emily Dutson, 21, also of Lynndyl, who was critically wounded at the time, died today, December 27, 2010. According to KSL News, the crash happened about 7:15 p.m. It was lightly snowing at the time that Mary Sue Dutson lost control of her 1998 Buick LeSabre. The car then spun into the opposite lane of travel, where it was struck by a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, whose driver was unable to stop in time. Witnesses say that the Buick was driving too fast for conditions. The passengers in the truck were treated for their injuries and released.

I send my deepest condolences to the family of Mary Sue Dutson and Emily Dutson for their tragic loss and wish the best to those recovering in the pickup truck.

Legally speaking, everyone, excluding the family of the Buick driver, likely has an insurance claim that could be made. I would recommend those interested to get a free consultation with an experienced Utah accident and injury lawyer to find out the scope of coverage that may be available.
